Badge for conservation group
The scout group we are members of recently assisted with planting native trees in an area which was 'red zoned’ and cleared of housing following the Christchurch earthquakes. This activity goes towards the scouts earning their Forest / Ngahere badge.
Conservation Volunteers New Zealand organised this planting day. Belgique Badges has supplied CVNZ with woven badges for their conservation programme.
A cabbage tree (ti kouka) features on the badge of our Gordon Scout Group. The cabbage tree was one of the native tree species we planted.
In the images alongside are the CVNZ badge and the Gordon Scout Group badge. Both are woven.
If you need a badge for your group or project, please get in touch for a quote.
