Striking new badge for Cromwell Scout Group

New York may be nicknamed the ‘Big Apple’ but Cromwell has the real thing!  The new badge of Cromwell Scout Group features the large sculpture of fruit which was erected in 1989 and also includes a pear, a nectarine and an apricot.  Also on the badge are grapes, the Clutha River, hills, the sun, and a mining pick reflecting important economic, geographical and historical features of this district in Central Otago.  When incorporated into a badge, these all help with reflecting your group’s identity and also with promotion.

This group’s colours of burgundy and tan are incorporated into the border, text and outer background.  Sometimes a simple design can be more effective, but this design is well balanced even though it is multi-coloured.  (Up to a dozen different thread colours can be included in a woven or embroidered badge).

We’ve made a range of other badges featuring local monuments symbolising the towns they are from.  If you would like to design and make a badge or patch for your group or club, please get in touch with Belgique Badges.
